Hey Guys! It’s Mac here sharing how I’m getting ready for school this year. Even though school will be a little (or a lot) different this year, I love to plan and get motivated for school. I’m doing virtual schooling this year, so here’s how I plan to stay organized!
Create a Routine
One of the most important things for me to do before school starts is to create a routine. I thrive on routine, so this is a big one for me. I’m going to set a goal to wake up at the same time every morning (like I would if I were going to school in person), workout, eat breakfast, journal, shower/get ready for the day, and then start school. Another thing I’m going to do is take a few minutes in between each classes’ work to reset (just like I would walking to my next class). Once I get used to my routine, it’ll be one less thing I have to think about during the day.
Buying Supplies
Next on the list is an obvious one: getting the supplies you need to succeed this year. I don’t know exactly what I’ll be needing for school this year since most (or all) of it will be online, but here are a few basic items I’ll be using this year:
TUL Disc-bound Weekly/Monthly Student Planner - This brand of planners is absolutely amazing! The pages are held together by rings, which can be switched out for larger sizes if needed, and every page has the ability to be moved around. This planner is great for students who need to jot down quick notes, because they can easily move the page into a different section. This planner will also last a long time because the brand sells refills for each new year. https://amzn.to/2BDYuR6
And to go with the planner are the TUL Retractable Gel Pens. These pens are great for color coding your planner or notes, and they won’t bleed through the paper. https://amzn.to/2X8MluW
Pencils (I prefer mechanical)
Sticky Notes
How to Stay Organized
The key to being successful in online schooling is to be organized. By creating a routine, I’ve set myself up to be productive. I’m going to designate a spot for my school supplies in my room (either in my closet or my desk). After I’m done with my work each day I’m going to put everything in its specific place so the next day my work space is neat and clean.
At the end of the day, you need to choose what works best for you, I’m just here to show you how I’m getting ready for this school year. I hope you enjoyed this post and come back next week for another post!
