Hey guys! How’s your week been? Today I want to share some of my favorite quotes with you all. These all relate to different aspects of myself that I feel I can improve. Here we go!
Your direction is more important than your speed.
What matters more is what you’re doing, not how fast you get there.
2. Each day you must choose, the pain of discipline or the pain of regret.
When you want to procrastinate or come up with excuses why you shouldn’t do something, think about how much you’ll regret not doing it at this moment.
3. It’s not about being the best. It’s about being better than you were yesterday.
Perfection isn’t realistic, but progress is.
4. You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf. -Jon Kabat Zinn
You can’t always change your circumstances, but you can change how you react to them.
5. Don’t ignore your own potential.
Don’t sell yourself short just because you’re younger, have less experience, etc.
6. Allow yourself to be a beginner. No one starts off being excellent.
It’s okay to make mistakes in the beginning (everyone does). Give yourself some grace and patience.
7. Don’t tell me the sky’s the limit when there are footprints on the moon. -Paul Brandt
This is one that has always resonated with me. Don’t let people limit you. Exceed their expectations.
8. Make it happen. Shock everyone.
Achieve your goals and surprise everybody when you do.
9. You can be a good person with a kind heart and still say no.
Kindness is an amazing quality to have, but it’s also okay to have boundaries. Be kind but don’t let people walk all over you.
10. Thinking positively isn’t about expecting the best to happen every time, but accepting that whatever happens is the best for this moment.
This one ties back to #4. Make the most of your circumstances. Ride the waves.
Alrighty! That wraps up this week’s blog post! Hopefully some of these inspired and encouraged you! Go check out our instagram account! Come back next week for another blog post!
