What's up you guys its E! Summer is getting close to an end, and while we prepare to go back to school next month we should be able to look back at summer 2020 and find the positive. While we have been quarantined for the past couple of months, we shouldn’t let that stop us from making the last weeks of summer end with a BANG! I have come up with a list of 5 things you need to do before summer is over.
Go into the Outdoors
Being cooped up in the house all day can be annoying, and the days seem to get longer as each day passes. So why not take advantage of your state's natural beauty? Go and find new trails to hike, chase waterfalls, go for bike rides with your family, or even a casual stroll around your neighborhood. Not everybody loves to hike ( and I don’t blame you) but finding a good group of people to do it with can make the agonizing experience a little bit better.
Get late-night ice cream!
This is one of my favorite things to do in the summertime, grabbing a couple of friends or family members and going to your favorite ice cream shop (or snow cone place). This can be such a fun trip to take, but make sure you’re taking precautions and wearing your mask. I mean who doesn’t love going to sonic or wherever to grab a nice cold cup of ice cream?!
Chase the Sunset
Watching the sun-set can be such a surreal moment, and a great way to just enjoy the moment and forget about all of the other things happening in your life. And a bonus to watching the sunset is if you're into taking pictures your Instagram feed will be looking snazzy.
Long Drives
My sister and I used to go on drives to know where all the time. We would turn the music up and jam out to our heart's content, and that would also give us some time to reconnect after a long and busy week. I would recommend going on long drives to-know-where with your family, or closest friend because sometimes we need to sing it all out or talk it all out.
Do Something New
The last thing you need to do before summer is over is to try something new. In this day and age, there are so many different ways to express your creativity or to learn a new skill. As a teenager, there are so many things that I want to do but I let fear and others' opinions get in the way. So if you’re reading this I challenge you to get out of your bubble and do something you have always wanted to do, whether that's starting a youtube channel, blog, podcast, or showcasing your skills because if you keep pushing it off you might regret it.
I hope you all enjoyed the post this week, and don’t forget to come back next Friday for an all-new post!
E :)
